Patio Table (reclaimed glass); Refinished Bamboo Chairs

The story of the piece of tempered glass in this table...

Many years ago this piece of glass was cut and tempered for a convenient store somewhere in Kanas...

It was given away and simply laid across some wood supports and used as a computer desk.

Now it has been once again repurposed as a durable outdoor patio table.

Before the Mahogany stain 

and varnish 

was applied...

After.

The bamboo chairs have been refinished.

The bamboo chairs were built in the 1950s. 

The chairs originally were tan colored (like the color of dried bamboo), faded, and most of the varnish had weathered off. 

The chair pads have been reupholstered with sage-colored burlap.
