We believe that using our gifts to create and share with those around us is the path to peace in our lives. These gifts are from our heavenly Father; He designed us to give our gifts with humility, as a way to bless others. This is possibly one way in which we can do this.
In 2011, the year we were married, we opened our Etsy shop, it was called "The Honey Shack". We had our first sale in January, 2012, and in January, 2013, we sold our first reclaimed wood piece, an 18x18 reclaimed wood mirror. 2013 transitioned us into a full-time Etsy business, as "Hurd and Honey, For Your Home".
It's surely an adventure, and requires seasons of much faith, but we're in this together.
Each piece is handcrafted in our woodshop in Denison, Texas.
