(So looking at yesterday's Instagram post we probably should have made a recipe that called for lemons, but oh well, poor planning, and now we're stuck with lemons for the weekend.)
Finally, a chocolate chip cookie recipe that WILL NOT DISAPPOINT!
For Christmas, our friend Kris bought us the book "The Yellow Table". This cookbook is perfect for those of you that have a "simple kitchen". What I mean is, a kitchen where the cooking and baking is mainly simple. For example, we typically eat meals throughout the week that can be made in a short period of time, and also only require one hand (baby on the hip). (i.e., quesadillas, canned chili, etc.)
On the contrary, while the recipes are simple they are also unique and delicious. It wasn't the type of cookbook that would appear to have a chocolate chip cookie recipe, but it does, and I've made a lot of CC cookies in my life, and these are by far the most delicious. So this weekend, while you're enjoying some winter weather (most of you may be), you should bake up a batch of these and enjoy with your coffee. These ingredients are likely to be found in any household.
