Hurd & Honey Hygge

We believe the home should be a sanctuary – a place of beauty, inspiration and peace. A home should be welcoming, and the pieces in it, significant.
— Sam and Kristin Hurd - October, 2014

Hygge - the art of building a sanctuary and community, of inviting closeness and paying attention to what makes us feel open hearted and alive. To create well being, connection and warmth. A feeling of belonging to the moment and to each other. Celebrating the everyday. (Definition from hygge.co)

#HurdandHoneyHygge is our next adventure, and we are taking you with us!

Our purpose from the beginning has been to inspire beauty within a home. It has always been our hope that each of our pieces, from something as large and space-changing as a desk, to the tiniest tea light holder, would add a deeper warmth to the home it becomes part of. Our handcrafted pieces are making their way from our home, where they are handcrafted, and arriving to your home, where they become part of your home's landscape.

#HurdandHoneyHygge is a monthly, ongoing giveaway in which one home will be selected and given $500.00 to use towards any of our products. The amount can be applied to our current designs or custom pieces.

Enter the June giveaway on June 1st! We will share (on June 30th) on Instagram by tagging the family/individual that is selected. On July 1st, if you're not selected, you can enter for July's contest. We plan to continue this giveaway for several consecutive months.

We may not be able to makeover your entire home, or an entire room, but one day we would love to; this is only the beginning! Entering the giveaway is simple, follow the steps listed below.

  1. Follow us on Instagram @HurdandHoney

  2. Find the #HurdandHoneyHygge June announcement photo on our Instagram feed, like the post, and tag a friend. The photo will be posted on June 1st.

  3. For extra entries share any Hurd & Honey photo on your own Instagram feed and be sure to use #hurdandhoneyhygge in your caption.

We will be posting updates on Instagram and here on the blog too! Thank you!
