Our floating shelves include wooden mounting cleats, hardware, and instructions. We do recommend attaching the cleat to the wall studs at two points (minimum). The cleat is not pre-drilled as stud placements in homes vary. Once the cleat is installed, the shelf slides over the cleat and fastens to the cleat through the top of the shelf.

You will need: level, drill/drill bits, stud finder, pencil

These shelves are secure to hold dishes, books, etc. as long as they are anchored to studs, and level. Most of our customers purchase these shelves for kitchen storage.

For our smaller shelves (12" and 18" lengths) we recommend additional drywall anchors for added support assuming only a single stud will be available. We do not provide the drywall anchors.

Each shelf is sold individually.
