Nature magically brings us closer to our truest selves. It's the best place to bring one of your children to have a deep heart-to-heart conversation. Take to the trail and allow them the freedom to share their heart with you. 

In life we are faced with great challenges and one way to soothe our broken hearts is to take a walk on a crisp afternoon, in prayer, in meditation, breathing through our pain. Time spent in nature is a healing experience.

Nature Inspires Creativity

Creativity is evident throughout nature. We don't have to plan an elaborate vacation to find it. A simple, tiny, small town backyard is substantial. Plant a small garden. Teaching your children to garden, or yourself, is a beautiful way to connect with nature and find inspiration. Perhaps you love to paint, or draw, or take photos, a garden makes a beautiful subject, especially while in bloom.

Maybe you love to spend time making creative meals for your family; growing vegetables and fruits can inspire new meals in the kitchen. Allow your children to make their own creations with what you all have grown in your family garden.

We need to be outdoors, our souls need it, our children need it, and we need this time together. Nature lifts us, it fills us.
